Legislative Luncheon-. Please ask all your group members to contact their local representatives and encourage them to attend the NAMI NH presentation and free lunch on Tuesday Feb 13. All representatives and senators will have seen the invitation and specifics in the House and Senate Calendar. Presentation will include a short “In our own voice” presentation.

Spring Affiliate Leader and Teacher Meeting-
The date for this bi-annual meeting will be set shortly. Meanwhile please forward to me your “wish” list for the meeting content. We are planning the focus to be on networking of ideas between leaders and teachers as we had so little time to do this at the fall meeting.
Support Group Facilitator Training- Thank you to all who got the word out about this training, we have 18 participants taking the training!!
Annual Award Nominations- Nomination forms are in the quarterly NAMI NH newsletter that was just emailed. Consider nominating a F2F teacher or Support Group Leader, encourage others to nominate someone that has been helpful to them. There are specific categories but also a category called “Unsung Hero” . If you need a nomination form, please contact me. The deadline is March 15.
Family to Family Spring Classes-
F2f will be taught in Nashua and Conway this spring. Scott and Norma Smith will teach again in Nashua starting in early March and Elaine and Brooks South will teach in Conway starting early April. Go to www.naminh.org for details and contact information.
Whats New?
This bears repeating!
Support groups now have their own pages on the NAMI NH website. The NAMI NH office will post information, announcements, events or anything your group wants on your group’s very own page. But to make this work you need to forward your “news” to Monica at mdenham@naminh.org or fax it to her attention at 228-8848 or give her a call 225-5359! Once your page is set up you can just email the link that will take folks directly to your groups page!

To help make Monica’s job easier, PLEASE email the entire page as you would like to see it displayed. Each time you need to make a change, just change it in your original document, date it and send to Monica. View the existing pages to get ideas for your group’s page.
Teachers
- New Teacher manual pages have arrived. We will be sending them out to all active teachers.
Interesting Statistics-
Recently I had to put together some statistics on the NAMI NH support groups, thought you would be interested in them.
In 2006:
- 341 NAMI NH Support group meetings were held in NH
- Attendance for all the meetings combined topped 2900 People!
- Affiliate volunteer hours = 4178
- F2F volunteer hours = 1200
Think of the families that you have touched!
