Making Advocacy Work: The Implications of Healthcare Reform and Parity Legislation on the Treatment of Mental Illness presented by Michael Fitzpatrick, Executive Director of The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Arlington, VA.
NAMI NH is honored to have Michael Fitzpatrick, the Executive Director of our national organization, as our Keynote Speaker. Mr. Fitzpatick will speak on the national parity legislation that was passed in March 2009 after nearly two decades of advocacy by NAMI and its inclusion in national healthcare reform. He will also update NAMI NH's advocates on overall healthcare reform and its implication for the mental health service system.
