NAMI NH Board President Receives Bradley Award

Paul Gorman receives Bradley AwardNAMI NH Board President Paul Gorman recently received the 2011 Lilla McLane Bradley Award from West Central Behavioral Health at a special reception in his honor at the Hanover Inn.

The Bradley Award, named after Lilla McLane Bradley, who served as West Central’s first chairperson 32 years ago, was created to honor and recognize citizens who provide support to West Central Behavioral Health and to mental health initiatives in general.

It is fitting for Paul to receive this award.  In the various roles he has served during his career including serving as Superintendent of New Hampshire Hospital, Director of the Division of Mental Health, Executive Director of West Central, his ongoing work with the Dartmouth Psychiatric Research Center, and serving as Board President for NAMI NH, Paul has always worked to improve the collaboration between organizations and the overall system of care for people with mental illness in NH.
