NAMI NH/Frameworks Protocols (guidelines) For Survivors
This section contains the Postvention (what to do after a suicide death) Protocols to assist families and community members with how to respond after a suicide death.  It contains information about grieving, memorial services, and other helpful information for survivors.

SUPPORT GROUPS:
A list of support groups for suicide survivors in NH. 

Statewide Bereavement Group
Though not specific to suicide, the mission of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others be supportive.  There are various compassionate friends groups held throughout the state, call the number below:

RESOURCES FOR SUICIDE SURVIVORS:
These links provide resources on grief and grieving loss of someone who dies by suicide. They include specific articles for children and family members. These articles are also sent out following a suicide death to next of kin by the office of the Chief Medical Examiner of NH.

COMMUNITY HEALTH AND HEALING FUND
The Youth Suicide Prevention Assembly (YSPA) together with NAMI NH/Garret Lee Smith Act are providing small grants to assist NH communities with promoting health and healing following a suicide death.  Forms and explanation of types of requests considered are found at the link below.
