WE OFFER SUPPORT FOR FAMILIES OF THOSE
DIAGNOSED WITH A SERIOUS MENTAL ILLNESS
Please join us if you have a family member who suffers from bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, schizo-affective disorder, or other serious brain disorders.
- When: The NAMI-NH Seacoast Family Support Group meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month, 7:00-8:30 p.m. (Group does not meet on the fourth Thursday in November and December).
- Where: Seacoast Mental Health, McLaughlin Room, 1145 Sagamore Ave., Portsmouth, NH
We are a group of families & friends of those diagnosed with mental illness, joined together for mutual support, education, understanding, and advocacy. Local meetings stress sharing, caring, and educational opportunities. Affiliation with national and state alliances provide opportunities to influence laws, policies, budgets, and attitudes that affect the mentally ill.

Directions to Seacoast Mental Health Center, Portsmouth:
(Park in the front and use the main entrance. The McLaughlin Room is down the hallway to the left off the main lobby)
From Portsmouth: Route 1 South (Lafayette Road) to Elwyn Rd. on the left (just before Cumberland Farms). Follow Elwyn Rd. to a roundabout, go three quarters around to Sagamore Rd. IA North, go past Wentworth Rd./IB. Seacoast Mental Health Center is on the left. Follow the driveway to the rear of the building, take the door to the wing at the left which opens directly to the conference room.
From Exeter and other points west: Follow Route 33 East to Peverly Hill Road in Portsmouth (at light, just beyond cemetery), turn right onto Peverly Hill Road to Route 1. Go through the right onto Elwyn Rd. and follow the directions above.
From Massachusetts and points south: Take I-95 north, go through the toll booth, go 6 miles north to the first exit past the toll booth, Exit 3. Right at the exit onto Route 33 East. Follow Route 33 to Peverly Hill Road in Portsmouth (at light, just beyond cemetery). Turn right onto Peverly Hill Road to Route 1. Go through the light onto Elwyn Rd. and follow the directions above from Portsmouth.
