Suicide is the second leading cause of death for young people in New Hampshire and a significant cause for those of all ages. In addition, suicide attempts and threats, particularly among youth, are an ongoing indication of the need for youth-friendly services and responses that keep our citizens healthy and productive. Preventing suicide is a very complex puzzle that requires all of us working collaboratively to complete the picture. We invite you to join us and become part of the solution! At the conference, you will learn specific ways in which you can connect with and respond to youth at risk, what is taking place in preventing suicide in New Hampshire and how you can be involved.
