Peer Support

Peer support provides an opportunity for individuals with mental illness to benefit from the knowledge, experience and emotional and social support of others who have "been there, done that." People who have similar lived experiences can better relate and offer each other practical advice and suggestions for strategies that professionals may not offer or even know about.
