Presentations like In Our Own Voice, given by trained individuals who have struggled with mental illness and are in recovery, and Life Interrupted, given by family members who have a loved one with mental illness, gives us all greater insight into mental illness while focusing on hope and recovery.
At our education conferences and support events, we bring families, community members, providers, legislators and experts together to share information about the major issues related to mental illness, treatment and recovery, and steps to improve the system of care.
