The Samaritans in Keene offer phone support for individuals coping with the suicide of a friend or loved one. 603.357.5505
The National Suicide Hopeline will immediately connect you with an operator in your area who is trained to deal with suicide emergencies 800.784.2433. Serving the Spanish speaking community is 1.877.SUICIDA (1.877.784-2433).
In NH the HELPLINE 800.852.3388 can refer you to your local community mental health center emergency services, and can also provide you with information about other social services in your area

Surgeon General's Call To Action on Suicide: In 199 the US Surgeon General issued a call to action on suicide. The Family Resource Connection is a service offered through the New Hampshire State Library. They maintain a resource library with books, videos, tapes and other media sources on a variety of subjects including suicide. You can arrange to borrow materials from the library and they will mail them directly to your home. For more information call 800.298.4321.
