DESCRIPTION:Learn effective de-escalation skills from a variety of perspect
 ives – including assessing\, intervening\, and monitoring. Explore recen
 t developments in the psychology of extreme escalation and focus on mental
  preparation skills that can lead to effective intervention under stress. 
 Skill-based scenario training will be used to increase participants’ con
 fidence in their ability to effectively intervene with those in extreme cr
 isis.\n\nThe program is designed for those who serve on the front line inc
 luding public safety\, first responders\, health care providers\, mental h
 ealth professionals\, crisis workers\, and social service professionals.\n
