SUMMARY:NAMI NH Volunteer Support Group Facilitator Training
DESCRIPTION:NAMI New Hampshire is looking for individuals interested in bec
 oming volunteer Support Group Facilitators for Family and Parent Support G
 roups. Facilitators are family members or direct caregivers of individuals
  living with mental illness. They create a safe and supportive environment
  where participants can learn and build hope through the sharing of lived 
 experiences. They play an essential role in ensuring that all support grou
 p participants feel welcomed and that their voices are heard.\n\nThis trai
 ning will be held on Saturday March 29th and Saturday April 5th\, 8:30am-4
 :00pm via Zoom.\n\nQualifications:\n\n 	Attend at least 2 sessions of NAMI
  NH support groups as a participant. Find a group: www.NAMINH.org/support-
 groups.\n 	Have lived experience with a loved one (family member\, signifi
 cant other\, friend) with mental health challenges.\n 	Possess strong list
 ening skills and an empathetic disposition.\n 	Experience with Zoom\, pref
 erred.\n 	Recommendation from a Support Group Leader or Family-to-Family/B
 asics education program leader\, preferred.\n 	Meet with the trainer as pa
 rt of the registration process.\n 	Upon completion of the training\, pass
