July 2025’s Volunteer of the Month is Laur Izutsu!
Laur is committed to supporting and providing education to NH parents and primary caregivers. She has consistently made time to be a part of NAMI Basics, the 6-session education program for parents and primary caregivers with a child or youth who is struggling with their mental health. Laur was a participant in NAMI Basics and, seeing the value of the program, later became trained as a NAMI Basics Education Program Leader. Laur also volunteers on the NH Family Network Grant Oversight Board. We are grateful for Laur’s willingness to use her lived experience to help other families in the Granite State.
