February 2025’s Volunteer of the Month is Ashley Bachert!
In the short time Ashley volunteered with NAMI NH, she made a huge impact! Ashley is a young adult presenter for the Ending the Silence Program that helps middle and high school aged youth learn about the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if you or a loved one are showing symptoms of a mental health condition. She has a smile that is warm, inviting, and healing. During her presentation, Ashley shares her mental health experiences with the students and connects with them effortlessly. She is so open about her challenges that students approach her afterwards, share their experiences, and give her high fives and hugs. We are grateful for the impact she has had on hundreds of students across the Granite State.
