October 2024’s Volunteer of the Month is Raya Fratkina!
Raya came to NAMI NH a few years ago to provide support to parents/caregivers with children and youth who experience mental health challenges. She leads a virtual support group twice a month and provides outstanding follow-up to her support group members. In a recent survey of support group participants, one person commented that they “keep coming back for the two-way support it offers (to receive & give) and the sense of COMMUNITY I’ve found here.” Raya is also always willing to volunteer at community events to share NAMI NH resources. We are grateful for all that Raya does to share kindness and support while spreading the message that You Are Not Alone.
