Do you or a loved one need support, but you haven’t been sure where to start?
The resources found at NAMINH.org explain how NAMI New Hampshire provides support, education, and advocacy for Granite Staters. The website has a wealth of programs and events to explore and learn more about, as well as information on local support groups and current NH mental health related events and stories.
Whether this is your first step toward finding help or you are looking for new tools to support your or a loved one’s mental wellness, the resource tab is a great asset to keep in mind. Everything from fact sheets and safe messaging guides to crisis support lines; here there are resources to support people from stages of crisis all the way through to recovery.
NAMI NH also highlights specific resources for the LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, Immigrant/Refugee and AAPI communities – as we recognize that discrimination impacting these populations directly affects mental health. In curating these pages, NAMI NH seeks out resources created by and for individuals in the LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, Immigrant/Refugee or AAPI communities. Understanding and shared experiences go a long way in recovery and we believe that diverse support builds strong communities.
For additional resources and information on mental health support and education, visit the NAMI NH Information and Resource Line page. To speak with a trained NAMI NH staff member, contact 1-800-242-6264 (press 4) or info@NAMINH.org. Please note, this is not a crisis line – click here for 24/7 crisis support options.
