Our community members who identify as LGBTQ+ often face daily discrimination and lack family support – both factors can increase risk for mental health conditions, including suicidality. Support from family members, friends, colleagues, and community members is critical for mental wellness. The below resources might be especially helpful for folks who identify as LGBTQIA+, and their loved ones.

PFLAG – New Hampshire works to create a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.
Rural Outright (Newport, NH) partners with the LGBTQ+ community to promote health and wellness through connections to community resources and strong social networks.
Seacoast Outright works to create a safe space for youth to explore the topics of gender and sexuality in a welcoming and understanding environment and to protect and foster community, empathy, and security.
