2026 NAMI NH Annual Awards – Nominations Open!

Every year, NAMI NH provides the opportunity for our community to share who is giving them hope through their work to support mental health and suicide prevention here in the Granite State. Our annual awards recognize important roles such as Volunteer of the Year, Systems Transformation Leader, Mental Health Supporter, Legislator of the Year, and more. Through these awards, we celebrate the people doing the work to strengthen mental health in NH, and aim to inspire others to join our mission. Hear from some of our previous award winners:

2025 NAMI NH Annual Award Winners

“I think each of us who volunteers does so because, deep down, it provides a sense of happiness. For me, it has never been about compensation other than the feeling that I hopefully am making a difference to others. Even so, recognition is something that makes being a volunteer feel so much more important, and it definitely fuels the flame of desire to continue. We volunteers really want to succeed, and we do so when those who manage us make sure we don’t fail. Getting an award for our mutual success made me feel truly special.” – Nancy Hollinshead, 2025 Volunteer of the Year

“Winning the NH Youth Leadership Award a few years ago was truly incredible. It meant so much to be recognized by an organization I have so much respect for, especially for advocacy work that is so important to me. That recognition continues to inspire me in the work I do today and reminds me why this mission matters so deeply.” – Erin Murphy, 2023 Youth Leader

“Having received the Peer Support Professional award was an amazing feeling. To be recognized by my fellow colleagues, to realize my one voice had been heard. This award motivates me to work even harder and be even ‘louder’ because it all starts with that one person.” – Chris Grasso, 2025 Peer Support Professional
