NAMI NH’s network of over 200 volunteers forms the foundation of our work throughout the Granite State. Drawing from lived experience and a deep passion for helping others, these volunteers work to show individuals and families they are not alone, raise awareness, and eliminate stigma and discrimination
On Monday, October 27, five exceptional NAMI NH volunteers were recognized at the 2025 Spirit of NH Awards for their outstanding contributions to volunteerism.
Cheryl Guerin, Adult Category, honored for her many volunteer roles including Life Interrupted Presenter, NAMI Basics Education Program Leader, CIT Roler Player, and Board Vice President.
Karen Prive, Adult Category, celebrated for over 13 years of service, sharing her personal journey of recovery with honesty and compassion, and offering support and empathy to those that need to know they are not judged and not alone.
