NAMI Connection support groups are free peer support groups for adults living with mental health symptoms. The groups are led by trained volunteer facilitators with lived experience who have faced the challenges of struggling with their mental health. These meetings provide a safe place of understanding, encouragement, and hope. Connection groups offer a relaxed approach to sharing the challenges/successes of coping with mental illness and work towards building hope while supporting others.
Please register here to receive invites to our online groups or e-mail connection@naminh.org for answers to any questions you may have.
These support groups are for adults who have lost a loved one to suicide. Groups are peer-facilitated and comprised of fellow survivors who can offer great comfort through conversation and discussion of issues unique to bereavement due to suicide.
Additional resources for loss survivors are available on our survivors of suicide loss page.
NAMI New Hampshire offers several Facebook Support Groups. Participation in these groups begins with answering a few short questions about you or your loved one to maintain the fidelity of supporting those impacted by mental illness. Content is moderated by NAMI New Hampshire staff and/or volunteers.
