Kelly Burch, Burch Creative, NAMI NH Family-to-Family teacher and volunteer
In September, NAMI NH volunteer Kelly Burch decided to chase a silver lining to the pandemic and set out on an open-ended RV trip with her husband, dog, and two daughters. Since then, they’ve been to 25 states, exploring back roads and bayous as well as some of America’s best-known parks, including the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone and Yosemite. Kelly will share her decision-making process, the highlights and challenges of the trip, and how getting away from real life was the perfect way to protect her family’s mental wellness during a year unlike any other.
