Are you familiar with the term “micro”aggression? How can we identify “micro”aggressions, and what can we do when confronted with them either as a target, perpetrator, or bystander? This workshop will discuss the impact and harm caused by “micro”aggressions and the ethical implications of one’s own speech and actions. Participants will learn common themes of this term and how to redefine and rename it. This workshop will also explore the signs and symptoms of racial trauma and how we can be racially informed peers, colleagues, and neighbors.
