July Volunteer of the Month – Dawn Johnson
NAMI New Hampshire would like to recognize Dawn Johnson for our July 2023 Volunteer of the Month. Dawn is a SurvivorVoices speaker, a program in which individuals who have lost a loved one to suicide share their personal stories of loss in order to promote healing and understanding, as well as suicide prevention.
In addition to SurvivorVoices speaking events, Dawn has become our regular SurvivorVoices speaker for Connect Police and Corrections Academies trainings. Her openness and honesty about her loss, along with her strong message of hope and healing, fosters compassion and promotes awareness. We are so grateful to Dawn for being vulnerable and sharing her story of hope and healing.
