September’s Volunteers of the Month!

NAMI New Hampshire
Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Please join us in celebrating two FANTASTIC NAMI NH Volunteers for the month of September.  Both Alexa and Michelle volunteer as NAMIWalks NH Team SOS Captains, raising essential funds to support the mission of stomping stigma!

Alexa Felix bravely shares the tragic experience and heartbreak of losing her dad to suicide so that others do not feel alone.  A truly remarkable young woman, she has turned her loss into healing by sharing her loss, experience, lived perspective and heart in her volunteerism and fundraising.

Michelle Thompson is a ray of light and hope for those who have experienced suicide loss.  She openly shares her experience of losing her dad in the hopes of helping others.  We are truly fortunate to have a volunteer like Michelle who works tirelessly to dispel stigma and inspire hope and healing.

We are incredibly grateful to both of these inspirational individuals and their team – Team SOS – for all of their work promoting mental health awareness and suicide prevention in the Granite State.

Should you or someone you know need mental health crisis care in New Hampshire, please call or text the NH Rapid Response Access Point at 1-833-710-6477 or visit NH988.com. If you need assistance outside NH, please call or text 988. Both are available 24/7.
